LENT TOOLS
The drill is at someone's place.
Whose?
Tools travel a lot between neighbours and friends. Lendr notes who has each one, so the day you need it you know which door to knock on.

SOUND FAMILIAR?
You're about to hang a picture. The drill isn't there. Neither is the ladder. All you vaguely remember is a moving day on a Saturday.
Tools get lent for one job and then nobody remembers to give them back. Nobody's careless: it's just that nobody wrote it down.
HOW LENDR HELPS
Three taps and you're done.
01
Note the tool and who has it
With a photo, and the extras in the notes: bits, charger, case.
02
Give it a short date
It's lent for a job: a week is usually enough. We'll remind you two days before.
03
Share it with your neighbour
They'll see it in their Lendr and either of you can mark it as returned.
GUIDE
Five ideas for lending tools without losing them
Sharing tools with neighbours saves money and space at home. To make it work, all it takes is a little order:
1
Note the extras too
The drill comes back; the bits, not always. Write them in the notes when you lend it.
2
Photograph how you hand it over
That way you both know what condition it was in and what was in the case.
3
A short, specific date
“For the weekend” is easier to stick to than “whenever”.
4
Mark them with your name
A sticker or a bit of tape: in a packed storage room, it helps to know whose is what.
5
Both of you share it
If the loan is in both your Lendrs, nobody has to remember or bring it up.
QUESTIONS
What people usually ask us.
Does it work for a building or a neighbourhood?
–
Yes. Each person notes what they lend and, if they share it, the other person sees it in their Lendr.
Can I note extras and parts?
+
Yes, in the loan's notes. Only you can see the notes.
Is it free?
+
Yes. Noting, reminding and sharing are free.
Do you know where your drill is?
Note it now and let Lendr remember for you. It's free.
