SOUND FAMILIAR?
You lent Marta “The Invisible Guardian” in March. It's October, you want to reread it and she's sure you gave it to her.
Nobody means any harm: lent books end up on someone else's shelf and blend in with the rest. That's why it's worth noting down.
HOW LENDR HELPS

Three taps and you're done.

01

Note the book and who has it

With a photo of the cover, so there's no doubt which edition it was.
02

Give it a return date

Two days before, you get a reminder. No chasing anyone from memory.
03

Share it with the reader

They'll see it in their Lendr and you'll both remember.
GUIDE

Five ideas to get your books back home

Lending books is one of the best things you can do with them. Getting them back just takes a little order:
1

Note it right away

“I'll note it later” is exactly how books get lost. Ten seconds when you lend it saves months of doubt.
2

Set a reasonable date

A month for a novel gives room without pressure. If it slips, no problem: it's a reminder, not a fine.
3

Take a photo of the cover

In six months you won't remember if it was the paperback or the hardback.
4

Write your name inside

A note on the first page helps whoever has it remember who lent it.
5

Ask casually

“How are you getting on with the book?” works much better than “can I have it back?”. And it starts a good conversation.
